28 March 21 ECE: Assigned to Able Company, 2nd Battalion, Cabelleros Regiment under command of Capt. Tareem Almageis

17 April 21 ECE: Initial action in clearout of Sector 4, MidCity region. Cpl. De Leon sustained injuries to his left arm and lower right torso.

26 June 21 ECE: Caballeros Regiment assigned to march on Vorhang through Sectors 4-6 in mass clearing action. Cpl. De Leon displayed significant attentiveness to duty, ensuring that the section commander's orders were carried out and greatly improving morale during the most critical moments of the action.

7 August 21 ECE: Cabelleros Regiment attains primary objective. Cpl. De Leon, for his acts of duty which greatly increased the cohesion of his section, was promoted to Master Corporal.

4 December 21 ECE: Able Company is ambushed by Colonial raiders during a routine patrol. MCpl De Leon is injured by shrapnel but continues to carry out his orders.

12 February 22 ECE: Able Company is ordered by Command to clear the base of their sector of the Vorhang and establish ECM/Ministry presence. MCpl De Leon earns his first major decoration when, with full awareness of the danger and at great risk to his own life, leads his section to capture the local power station and take control of facility defences. He is awarded the Star of Courage.

19 May 22 ECE: Regimental re-organization. MCpl De Leon completes his NCO training and is promoted to Sergeant, being assigned control over Section 3, First Platoon.

9 September 22 ECE: Major Colonial attack against the Vorhang, several sections being lost to Colonial forces. Second battalion is assigned to hold ground against multiple raids. Sgt. De Leon is severely injured by a missile strike and is hospitalized for two weeks.

20 November 22 ECE: Sturmdrang Offensive. Three-pronged Colonial attack against the eastern side of the Vorhang where Caballeros Regiment is stationed. Over 20% of the regiment is destroyed. Sgt. De Leon's company is assigned to defend the power station and staging area. Through tactical mastery he is able to deny enemy forces an advantage on the ground and funnels their attacks towards a well-defended choke point.

1 April 23 ECE: April Fool's Incident. Colonial terrorists aboard a hijacked skyship engineer multiple detonations across the MidCity.

21 April 23 ECE: Militia and Ministry intelligence trace the source of the terrorists to a significant Colonial base in the northeastern part of the peninsula. Able Company is assigned to eradicate this threat.

3 May 23 ECE: Battle of Bosworth Hollow. Able Company arrives at the base and is immediately ambushed by Colonial forces. The entire unit is split into multiple smaller but still functioning sub-units.

5 May 23 ECE: After 2 days of being pinned down, Sgt. De Leon, with the aid of Ministry troops, directs his section through concealed terrain in order to take out Colonial gunnery positions. The entire Colonial front line collapses, permitting the battalion to neutralize the base.

13 May 23 ECE: In a televised ceremony, Sgt. De Leon is granted the Meritorious Service Cross for his actions during the Battle of Bosworth Hollow. Almost immediately afterwards he is promoted to Sergeant First Class and made 2IC of First Platoon.

8 June 23 ECE: Caballeros Regiment is made a vanguard unit to take offensive against Colonial positions throughout the eastern part of the Peninsula. The regiment's offensive will last over three years and extend far beyond the confines of the continent.

14 September 23 ECE: Second battalion is deployed to the Obsidian Coast, where Colonial forces are discovered staging for a major attack against Einheit City. They are quickly neutralized with the aid of Ministry troops.

2 October 23 ECE: Battle of Obsidian Coast. Hovercraft-borne Colonial troops engage the battalion in a prolonged offensive action. Able Company leads the flanking action under command of Capt. Almageis.

7 October 23 ECE: Battle of Blackwater Bay. Einheit forces engage in counteroffensive against Colonial 'naval' assets. SFC De Leon is noted for his valour, leadership, and extreme effectiveness under stress.

5 December 23 ECE: SFC De Leon recommends that Able Company raid the coastal caves to root out any Colonials inside. He and his men discover a concentration camp full of dissenters and undesirables from Sangvrait Colony.

24 February 24 ECE: Upon recommendation by Capt. Almageis, SFC De Leon is enrolled in Basic Officer Training and receives his commission as Second Lieutenant on 24 April 24 ECE. He is given command over First Platoon and becomes a very close confidant of the Company Commander.

18 March 24 ECE: Second battalion is directed towards the southern tip of the Peninsula based on reports of a very large Colonial presence there.

21 April 24 ECE: Battle of Point Stutgard. Able Company is assigned point and directs Einheit forces around the tip of the peninsula, where a large Colonial skyship base is discovered. Continuing on a string of heroic actions, Able Company, driven by Capt. Almageis and inspired by 2Lt. De Leon, leads the battalion's attack. Ministry troops take out the skyships and capture the principal crewmen.

4 October 24 ECE: After several months of action in the peninsula, Command decides to send the Caballeros Regiment across the sea to take the battle to the Colonies. Special units of airborne troops are trained, with 2Lt. De Leon being one of the principal officers.

25 November 24 ECE: Battle of Garenot Vale. First and second battalions march up the valley while airborne troops sabotage enemy firing positions. 2Lt. De Leon displays substantial courage and duty, risking his own life to ensure that Colonial forces did not rout their unit at a critical moment. When Colonial aerodynes emerged from the vale to attack their objective, 2Lt. De Leon, along with select members of his platoon, commandeered the anti-air defences and protected Einheit forces in the valley while under constant, suppressive fire from the enemy. For his actions he is given the Medal of Valour, the second highest decoration in the Einheit Civil Militia.

6 December 24 ECE: Zenith Offensive. Colonial forces clash with both Einheit forces and each other as they attempt to root out ECM and Ministry presence in the greater Falzburg region. Able Company is again at the forefront of the action, engaging in skilled manouevre tactics that effectively seal Colonial presence from the valleys.

15 February 25 ECE: Battle of Kaiserin Colony. The Cabelleros Regiment engages in a massive offensive of this Colony, which has been pinpointed as a major source of attacks on Einheit City. At 1850 hours, during the final charge against the Colonial defences, Capt. Tareem Almageis is mortally wounded. 2Lt. De Leon immediately takes command of Able Company and leads a retreat from the area.

18 February 25 ECE: The Long March. Bombarded by Colonial forces on three sides, Cabelleros Regiment makes a hasty retreat for the coast where Einheit dropships await to extract them. 2Lt. De Leon keeps morale high and tactics sound, ensuring that Able Company has the lowest casualty rate out of all the companies sans Ministry.

1 May 25 ECE: Yerusalem VI Imperial forces begin a series of intense offensives against the southern sectors of Einheit City. Cabelleros Regiment is assigned as primary defence.

15 June 25 ECE: In a midst of the Yerusalem attack, vanguards from the Devoreas Commonwealth arrive to engage both Einheit and Yerusalem forces. Able Company, under command of 2Lt. De Leon, becomes infamous amongst Colonial forces for their bizarre tactics which usually end with Militiamen controlling Colonial assets.

17 August 25 ECE: The Yerusalem offensives taper off as their assets are continually bled off by the Second Battalion, which had begun to adopt 2Lt. De Leon's tactics.

14 September 25 ECE: On his 19th birthday, and to great fanfare, 2Lt. De Leon is promoted to First Lieutenant, becoming the youngest such person in the Militia.

5 November 25 ECE: Ministry and Militia intelligence learns of a Colonial alliance led by Las Islas Colony in Centralia that poses a grave threat to Einheit security. Soon afterwards Cabelleros Regiment is sent on its first transcontinental mission to neutralize Las Islas before it can consolidate its power.

7 February 26 ECE: Battle of Tramendinas. Cabelleros Regiment participates in the largest skyship invasion in Einheit history, with multiple airborne troops and ground invaders pouring out of specialized hovercraft and across the frozen beaches to pierce into the heart of Las Islas territory. Again, Able Company is noted for achieving its objectives quickly and executing its famous capture-and-control tactics.

14 March 26 ECE: Einheit forces capture Tramendinas Colony after fierce fighting. It is the first time Einheit forces have captured Colonial territory. Most of the inhabitants are taken to the City where they receive citizenship, but the military and political leadership disappear under mysterious circumstances.

1 April 26 ECE: April Fool's Offensive. Las Islas forces stage a large counterattack against the Cabelleros Regiment. Able Company, in concert with other companies, directs a flanking attack which cripples the enemy supply lines. Once more, Lt. De Leon is commended for his mastery of tactics.

28 June 26 ECE: After several months of fighting Einheit forces arrive in the river valley in which lie the principal Colonies of Las Islas. They prepare for their massive assault on these Colonies.

15 July 26 ECE: Able Company discovers a group of saboteurs attempting to sabotage their staging. They are captured, and although Lt. De Leon recommends that Militia forces process them, the Ministry takes them and they are never heard from again.

21 July 26 ECE: Einheit forces begin its offensive against the leadership of Las Islas. However, Colonial forces prove difficult to defeat, and the Regiment suffers losses comparable to the Sturmdrang Offensive.

4 August 26 ECE: Able Company pinpoints the location of an armored regiment about to pierce through their front lines and scatter their forces. Their initial holding action and quick relay of the information to Command allows the attack to be thwarted.

9 August 26 ECE: The Caballeros Regiment lays seige to the capital colony, receiving in reply a bombardment of artillery. Lt. De Leon keeps spirits high and directs multiple raids to keep Las Islas military unit busy.

13 August 26 ECE: Able Company achieves its greatest military victory when, during the battle for the capital city of Las Islas, it gains control of the central government buildings and neutralizes Colonial communications and logistics with minimal casualties. Lt. De Leon himself also achieves his greatest triumph. His command section and several troops having been separated from the rest of the company, he proceeded to capture the Presidential Palace by engaging the Republican Guardsmen in direct combat without the assistance of the Ministry. He personally captured President Dalliera and therefore brought the huge Las Islas counteroffensive to a standstill.

21 September 26 ECE: Cabelleros Regiment returns to Einheit City under tremendous praise and honour. In particular, Lieutenant Santiago de Leon, his fantastic deeds of bravery, duty, leadership, and honour being fully noted by his commanding officers and his men, receives, in a televised conference presided by Chancellor Mara Kadesh, the Flame of Einheit, the highest honour granted by the government to any Einheit citizen.

15 October 26 ECE: Lt. De Leon decides to resign his commission with the Einheit Civil Militia and pursue his own personal goals.
