Physical Description: Najib is Viper/Hawk hybrid in his mid 20's. He stands average height and has a muscular build due to extensive physical conditioning. His scales are a dark copper tone, being somewhat lighter on his underside and neck. He has a long tail with dark orange feathers pluming from the end. The feathers also sprout from the top of his head, flowing towards the back of his head in an abstracts manner. His overal appearance is more snake like than bird like, as he retains his black forked tongue, fangs, and golden slitted eyes. The once exception is his digitigrade talons. Despite the his genetics being favorable to his good looks he doesn't consider himself to be all that attractive. When he's off duty he wears skintight leather biker gear, not particularly enjoying the feel of loose fitting clothing. He does tend to wear more conservative clothing as the mission dictates however.

Background: Born in 5 ECE Najib led a somewhat sheltered youth, being raised into a family of hybrids in the oil indistry. His father pushed him hard to study, telling him that if his grades fell below an A he'd be thrown out onto the streets and inherit none of his familys fortune. His only real comfort came from his mother, who would patch him up after his fathers lashings and singing him to sleep at night. With the rise of E-fluid his family decided to cash in while there was still a chance and sold thier assets to the Ministry where his father took up a highly controversial position as Chief of Resources. At the age of 6 his father enrolled him in the Ministry's martial academy with hopes that he'd bring great honor to the family name and follow in his footsteps. Najib graduated at the top of his class and was given the role in the Special Investigations Division of the Ministry. Much of his success was often alluded to being due to his fathers position, much to Najibs resentment. During the species wars SID took on more of an offensive role, raiding the homes of key colony leadership and interogating them for information. Najib was a natural for close combat, being promoted to team leader after his third mission and quickly hushing up rumors that he was not suited for the job. December 20th, 29 ECE upon his return from a mission Najib discovered that his father was one of the few UniClass casualties of the radioactive blast in midcity. Feuled with rage Najib swore vengeance, personally climbing aboard a Ministry bomber being prepped for Operation Boreas, allowing him to observe the lives of millions being extinguished with the flip of a switch. Nearly a year later the SID has returned to it's former role as an investigative unit. Najib, is currently a Ministry Investigator, though while off-duty he often drops in unannounced to midcity bars, listening carefully for any anti-Unity gossip or trouble to report to his fellow Ministers, or handle himself if possible.



Personality: Najib is generally a very shy person by nature. He didn't have many friends growing up as a child due to his studying, which resulted in a very dry sense of humor and a general disinterest for anything not work related. He puts on a good act in terms of acting social on duty, but doesn't necesarily enjoy it. He often works overtime out of boredom, going into work on his days off just to avoid sitting around his apartment. He'll occasionally get dragged along with the rest of his fellow Ministers to Midcity bars where he's forced into drinking games with the rest of the guys but other than that he'll try and avoid venturing out into public. At work Najib is a very by the books minister, often correcting other ministers for mistakes that most others wouldn't seem to notice. Despite his shy nature, he's fast to move into a dangerous situation and handle it quickly and effeciently.


Weapons/Equipment: Tanaki VF3000 - A single seater fighter style aerodyne with high altitude capabilies. Essentially a civillian sports model of a combat aerodyne, it is capable of his speeds and increased maneuverability. It's equipped with sirens a concealed lightbar for undercover use.

WhiteGear MV1A - Ministry ballistic armor system, Light Model. Slightly lighter than the standard Ministry gear the MV1A fully protects the head, neck, torso, arms, groin, and legs while allowing for increased mobility. Helmet equipped with HUD, thermal signature control, visual/audio enhancement, voice modifier, comm-set, and other standard features.

RSA 10mm - Semi-auto handgun with a 12 round magazine. Fires 10mm PenEx smart-explosive rounds. Carried while both on and off-duty, held in a holster located at his lower back.

Harmat M83A1 Sub-Machine Gun - Over-and-under configuration which incorporates a full auto .45 Cal Sub-Machine Gun on top with a 12 guage shotgun loaded with slugs below. Primary weapon while on Ministry duty.

UniTech M500 CQ - The M500 is a .50 caliber, shoulder fired, semi-automatic, anti-material sniper rifle. An aging model, the ministry being more favorable of pulse weapons, it is used on the rare occasion that a shotgun blast would not be enough to breach a door or take down a stubborn target. Najib favors the weapon due to its light weight and portability.

Telescopic baton - Standard rigid baton capable of collapsing and extending. Carried on his utility belt while on-duty. Sometimes carried off-duty.

Taser (Ministry duty only) - Roughly the size of a small handgun. Delivers a muscle-disabling shock either through firing a short-range projectile (10 meters/30 feet), or through drive-shock by arcing electricity while touching an individual's body without firing the projectiles.

X250 Patrol Motorcycle (Ministry duty only) - The X250 is a lightweight, rugged, cross-country motorcycle, modified for military use. It is used under normal conditions as a ground patrol, and fast response vehicle. The X250 may also be used to transport forward observers, demolitions, and reconnaissance personnel. It is equipped with two detachable document carrying case cargo compartments, holster for a sub-machine gun, and a sidecar with a mounted light machine-gun. The size and construction of the X250 makes it highly mobile on all roads and cross-country terrain.
