Physical Description:
Khamili is rather slim for a lion, due to the scarcity of food. The color of his fur is that of any other lion's (tawny) and his mane is a light-creamy mahogany. Due to the adaption of cold weather the fur upon his body is slightly thicker than a normal lions. There is a scar upon his head that traces the line of his mane upon the fore-head and cuts into the mane about 3 inches which causes an irregular part to his mane. There is also a scar embedded deep in his left foot-pad splitting the pad in two which does not grow back. The pad is protected by a piece of torn clothing that is wrapped tightly around it to keep the scar unexposed and the split paw-pad close together. Though it is sufficient enough to keep it exposed to the hard terrain of streets and flat surfaces the torn-clothing is not thick enough to dampen any rougher surfaces he walks upon. If he needs to walk across such surfaces Khamili will walk upon the very tip of his toes as to keep it off the unforgiving ground which causes an irregular lopsided stride. Often the lion will take rests when the pain of his paw-pad becomes too unbearable. Khamili wear's a dark-gray coat with a hood that is tattered and worn from the years of use. There are four pockets upon its front side and two on the inside of his jacket, each equally as big as the other almost enveloping the whole frontside. Often the lion bunches his mane within the hood the best he can to keep as warm as possible, yet some crimson frays of his mane stick-out due to it's thickness. Khamili's jeans are khaki discolored with stains and well torn from years of use.
Background:
Khamili grew up in the Undercity where he lived with his family working at a local clothing store with his mother. Both his father and brother were un-employed and constantly seeked out good honest work trying to keep a low profile and keeping the family safe from any contact with gangs and underlords. Soon after Khamili's 16th birthday did Reilu say he had found a job working at a pawn-shop. The extra credits helped much more than expected, though they were still living on day to day basis. Little did the family know that Khamili's brother Reilu became impatient with the unemployment and began working with a gang, selling drugs for a long while.
Soon enough Reilu began to get a little too comfortable and started pocketing the Underlord's cut of the credits expecting the Underlord not to expect the shortage of credits. One night the family was caught off-guard within the abandoned warehouse by the Underlord's gang members and were attacked. Luckily enough Khamili and his father escaped, but were separated by the chaos and confusion of the whole event and even though Khamili had a job it was very close to home and he realized he could never show his face down in that portion of the undercity again.
So he fled to the Mid-City in a panic, for sure his mother and brother didn't make it out alive, which devastated him gravely, and without someone to guide him he felt lost and lonely. Something that he never had to endure within his life. Aside from losing his whole family he never realized how screwed he was. Being alone and having no one else to help him or to fall back on in hard times. All he knew was honest work, which he never realized was so scarce to come by until those following weeks and had to learn quickly to survive on the streets with actions he felt he knew wasn't right. He quickly turned to pick-pocketing, stealing from the slums of peoples houses or places they lived and on a couple rare occasions male prostitution to survive. He absolutely hated himself for doing what he did, but it was hard to survive without doing something he felt was wrong. On some occasions he found some decent work like third-party transfers of information and packages, but somehow he had to always resort back to stealing. To the present he lives day to day trying to find any sort of a job.
The cause of this scar upon his fore-head that trails up into his mane is unknown to him. All he could only remember the swelling pain all over his entire skull and his visage covered in a crimson stain of his own blood when he awoken from what he suspects was an attack. The one scar he does remember was that on his left paw-foot pad. One time that paw-pad had been deeply gashed open from fleeing from a failed pick-pocketing attempt. Apparently slicing it across a sharp metal object while running.
Personality:
Khamili is not so much an introvert, but is smart enough to keep to himself most of the time and not to trust anyone although he yearns for some type of friendly relationship. Being in a family growing up he had a strong relationship with his siblings and wishes nothing more to have that kind of connection back again. If he is in luck and has more than he needs hes more than happy to give a bit to the less fortunate.
Khamili is generally layed back and it is really hard to get the lion very mad unless you try and bug him too much.
He doesn't necessarily let threats and insults get to him. He is very calm when it comes to confrontations usually shrugging it off and walking on, but if one were to lay a paw on him he instantly gets defensive, often pulling out a hunting knife that he found plundering someones home. The lion has great hand-eye coordination but his fighting skills and experience in such a field are little to none. He is generally much more adept at running than anything else and will often resort to that rather than try and fight.
In the time he travels the Mid-city he often sketches out the places he has been and marks them for hot-spots for pick-pocketing where he had a confrontation with another being and better avoid the area.
