Physical Description:
A mix of vulpine and feline, Eridani bears the physical body of a fox, with the markings of a his lynx heritage. His build is tall and thin, and while not as physical as others, he compensates with his driven loyalty to Unity. His long well-groomed fur is a silvery-gray color, with black freckle-like markings down is arms and legs along with the black and white accents on his digitigrade legs, paws, and face. His headfur is generally pulled back out of his eyes, and is a midnight black. A few prominent feline traits he possesses are his black retractable claws, bright aquamarine eyes, and keen eyesight in low light conditions.

Clothing:
Semicasual cargo pants that hide grease smudges and work-wear well, and blessed with the virtue of many pockets are his favorite wardrobe piece. On his upper body, a simple long-sleeved shirt with a cog-like logo on the chest pocket marks him as a city-worker, his name printed even in off-work attire on a small discreet nameplate. Jackets of cuts varying from white peacoats to heavy welder's jackets hang from the hybrid's frame, fitted with care and kept spotlessly clean. Worn almost at all times, a slightly over-sized white beret sits between his ears, the civilian variant of a Minister's headpiece marking him as a Minister's child.

While working, he generally keeps his tools in neat order, carried in a series of pouches attached to his belt, as well as a bandoleer-type layout over his tabard. Slightly obsessive about neatness, almost all of his possessions are kept clean, polished, and in perfect condition.

Background:
Born in year 10 ECE, Kaelan is a single child of a Minister and a pro-Unity author specializing in historical reeducational texts for prospective hybrids. Brought up in a rigidly structured household imparted the virtues of Unification at an early age, a tough-love mix of high-education and physical conditioning, all to build a better hybrid, and a better future. The dreamlike beginning was shattered with news from the war, Kaelan's father had be ruthlessly killed by a colonial sniper, the only reconciliation of the loss being his father's own beret that he keeps close at all times, given by one of his father's friends.

Soon after he turned sixteen, he bought his own one-bedroom apartment in the mid-quarter of the Toride, amid a dense mini-city of highrise buildings surrounding one of the many parks. His first career move was signing on with a conglomeration of like-minded business men called Codex Industries. His current assignment is the Ministry-sanctioned maintenance and installation of infrastructure within the Toride and Midcity, ranging from the Telescreen broadcasting, e-fluid system repair, to industrial construction.

Personality:
Shy and reserved are the most prominent traits of Kaelan's bearing, mainly because he rarely lets this facade down. Directly beneath the calm is a slightly distracted but brilliant mind, more concerned with the hundreds of numbers running through his head then the situation around him. Though not an anxious individual, Kaelan is a somewhat socially awkward person offset by an innate curiosity. Mostly, this compulsion for conversation and acquaintance will overcome his quiet demeanor and allow him to breach his shell.

When spoken to about technology, he brightens considerably, often going off on tangents regarding the latest innovations, or even his own tinkering in the electronic and mechanical engineering fields.

Tau-Haevat Corp. G7 - semi-automatic sidearm, fires 10mm rounds from a small five-round magazine in the side of the weapon's frame. Used only when leaving the Toride. Matte white frame with black grips and magazine.
