Height & Weight: 5'11" 185 lbs

Social Status: Outer Class

Physical Description:
This green eyed fox sports a motley appearance. His fur is unkempt, his muzzle is crooked. A couple of scars blemish his face, leaving odd streaks of red, tender skin in his untamed fur. His right ear is all but completely shorn off, with only an odd stub of cartilage remaining, while the left ear is mark by two considerable scars, one beneath the other. He is well toned, and aside from his scars, unusually healthy looking for a resident of the Undercity.

Generally, he wears a patchwork leather vest over a faded work shirt that at one point may have been green. On his lower body he wears a pair of baggy winter-camo cargo pants. Black steel-toed boots are worn over his feet, socks absent. A simple bandolier is worn across his chest, stocked with rifle rounds, and slung over his back in a custom holster is a .303 rifle, all of which he does not wear outside of the Undercity.

Background:
Smith began life as a typical ganger, riding with a Bosozuko gang in adolescence. He proved himself to be excellent shot and able fighter, though he never had much hand at riding, however, nor did he care much for the excitement. Gang membership guaranteed food and a marginal degree of safety, at least over what many Undercity residents enjoyed. As he grew older, his gang's patron, a syndicate which used the bikers as disposable muscle, took notice of his abilities, and brought him into the fold of the organization proper.

When he felt his services became unappreciated, Smith left the syndicate behind, a choice which did not sit well with his former benefactors. After an evening of drinking, eight thugs cornered the fox in small bar. Though his back was to his would-be assassins and he had only a revolver to defend himself, Smith managed to dispatch his assailants, receiving only a broken muzzle (which never quite healed right). This exploit earned him some notice from other syndicates and lesser groups, and he was soon approached with offers of work. Those offers which suited him he accepted, those which did not he declined, always working under the condition that he was only bound to do what he was specifically paid to; nothing more. No strings attached, no long term commitments.

More often than not, Smith finds himself eliminating those who have earned the ire of a syndicate boss or family. Occasionally he'll be paid to deliver a package or take part in an attack on an employer's rival. He's even taken what could be called "unconventional" jobs from some of the Undercity's more peculiar organizations. As long as he gets something worthwhile in return, there are few jobs he won't take.

Personality:
Lacking any family and few friends, "John Smith" is a wanderer. Moving from place to place in the Undercity under his innocuous pseudonym, Smith makes his way as gun for hire. Working for whatever syndicate or gang offers him the most, he has few loyalties to speak of. A man of steady temper and nerves, he takes life slowly, taking nothing in excess, save for his cigars. Usually, he avoids involvement in situations that won't benefit him in the end. That said, the fox does have his scruples, mostly having to do with respect and honor. Taking advantage of the weak and defenseless is beneath him, while he pursues any person he perceives to have crossed him with quiet determination. He pities those who can't protect themselves, and regard those who exploit them as equally weak - unable to handle 'bigger game.' For all his principals though, Smith is willing to play dirty to get the job done. He's disciplined, selfish, and ruthless.

Weapons/Equipment:
Oldsman .45: A six cylinder revolver with faux wood grip and 8 inch barrel, this single action weapon can be reloaded traditionally or with a loading gate located behind the cylinder. John usually leaves one chamber empty to avoid accidental discharge.

.303 Rifle: A simple rifle semi-automatic fed by an internal magazine, constructed from composite and polymer materials. Fairly old, but in fair enough condition.

Utility Knife: used more frequently as a lock pick or screw driver than a weapon, Smith keeps this 2 inch retractable blade handy for conveniences sake.
