“I hate it when you say 'uh-oh'."
Player: Overwatch/Kaelan
Character Name: Johann “Fritz” Hinkel
Age: 28
Sex: Male
Species: Wolf
Height/Weight: 6'1”, thin build.
Social Status: Outer Class
Physical Description:
Tall and rather fit for an underfed outer classer, Hinkel bears the scars of several battles on his torso and arms. He is most commonly seen wearing light gray cargo pants, black banded armor vest, leather boots, and a black field jacket. His jacket bears some modifications, such as the ballistic hardsuit shoulder guards, and a set of pouches attached to a waist-height belt. The shoulder spaulders bear a blue hazard-stripe pattern over a white base. His sleeve cuffs also have the same pattern, same for his belt and trouser hems. Under the jacket, aside from the armor, is a simple long sleeved silver-gray shirt, and worn black leather suspenders. The wolf himself has sharp features, silver colored fur that demonstrates a slight adaptation to the frigid temperatures in it's thickness, dark green eyes, and steel gray headfur that nearly runs halfway down his neck.
Background Info:
Some people believe that Hinkel was a colonial soldier, that he fought during the species war. No one has bothered to ask him however, most folk simply regard him as quiet (if somewhat eccentric) street wanderer who has practically no life between sparse paychecks and miniature drinking binges. Often found in the various ethnic communities scattered throughout the Midcity and Undercity, he lives mostly alone, trying to scrape out a living as far from politics as possible. Through a mix of manipulation and brute force he's kept out of most gang wars, but there is always the shadow of worry that someday, this purebred is going to pick a side when no one expects it. He sometimes hires himself out to certain individuals as a bodyguard, using his imposing appearance and military experience to ward off potential threats to his employer.
Personality Description:
The wolf known as “Fritz” by most generally keeps his snout out of other people's affairs, unless his unusual set of situational ethics kick in. Although he hates to admit it, he still retains his own code of morality despite the brutality of the streets. This trait usually doesn't help him sadly, as it only serves to send him into a depressed state whenever he witnesses an innocent person suffer. So far this has yet to get him into trouble, but the future is a tricky thing to predict. His day to day emotions swing wildly from quiet and withdrawn, to outgoing and personable. This broad range of mental states makes him somewhat hard to predict, but he never has taken any anger he may possess out on an individual. His training has sharpened his perceptions of the world, making more aware and cautious then he normally would've, and his minor case of paranoia -a side effect of his experience as a strike-team Grenadier in the species war- along side his various phobias, often making living in such a dangerous city that much harder, leaving the wolf's nerves constantly on edge.
Weapons/Equipment:
10-inch combat bayonet, well maintained, painted black for easy concealment. Always carried in the Undercity, sometimes carried in the Mids.
Colonial flak armor, good for stopping pistol to intermediate size rounds or even blades, but not rated for the heavy 12mm rifle ammunition used by the Ministry, or any other heavy-weapons. Protects the torso, shoulders, back, and neck. Heavy boots are also worn, protecting up to his knees.
Stun baton, heavy non-lethal baton with a array of shock-nodes at the tip. Always carried.
Misc Info:
Having gone through basic training followed by assignment to a colonial infiltration sect, Hinkel has experience with militaria of all sorts. Although by no means a master of the art, his grasp of procedure offers a opportunity that he is more then willing to exploit.
Firearms training, pistol/rifle marksmanship, demonstrates proficiency in most basic weapons.
Close-quarters combat training, a form militarized martial arts, knife training, and physical training that most soldiers were taught. This training, although not state-of-the-art, is a definite boon for when he is caught unarmed or in close combat.
