Player: Phearsum Enjinn

Character Name: Francis Holmes

Age: 57

Sex: Male

Species: Jackal/ Pembroke Corgi mix

Height/Weight: 5'4" 135lbs

Social Status: Outer Class

Physical Description: Francis is fairly short even for his breed. His thick brown and black fur coat give observers the false impression of stockiness. In reality, his jackal breeding lends him a lanky frame. White, glove like fur cover his feet and hands. He has long jackal ears, and an incredibly small tail typical of Pembroke corgis. Growing up through most of his adult life in New Urasel Francis was in good shape. A lack of proper exercise, mild depression brought on by current living conditions, and old age have caused a deterioration in health.

Small, half moon eyeglasses perch on his muzzle. Francis rarely dresses in casual clothing, but instead chooses to dress soberly to reflect his conservative personality. Most of his closet consists of old but well kept business suits, ties and dark dress shoes. When traveling outside, he wears a black pea coat that runs down to the length of his knees and carries a cane. The cane is made of brown hardwood with a glass ball handle filled with lead and is carried strictly for self defense.

Background: Born into a fairly well off family, Francis had no real life troubles growing up. What little trouble he had, it fell on his parents who received some flak from their families for breeding outside of their sub species. Fortunately, the most this amounted to was passive aggressiveness by family members during reunions.
All things considered, Francis thought his parents lucky. Where he came from cross breeding of this nature wasn't looked down as much as breeding outside ones own genus. It can only be imagined how far worse it could have been if they lived on any number of the other colonies.

While a bit of a work workaholic, he spent a lot of time intermingling with his peers in his time off. At age 24 he graduated from medical school and became a general surgeon. Being a humanitarian by nature, he was swayed by Dr. Frey's message of interspecies equality and moved to Einheit by the third year of its inception. In the first years of his stay, Francis slaved in a small hospital working all hours of the day trying to eek by a living in the fledgling city.
Eventually, he fell in love with a young deer nurse by the name of Sharen. They promised one another they would not have a child until they were ready. Finally by year 13, Francis and Sharen decide to have a child figuring they are getting old. The child is a deer, corgi, and jackal hybrid by the name of "Fripp".

A year later when it was announced parents of hybrids would be allowed UniClass status (at the time), the couple refused to enter the program due to suspicion of the Ministry's intentions. Since hybrid children of Outer Class citizens are taken away, Francis was forced to send Fripp to live with an old friend residing in the Undercity to escape the grasp of the Ministry. Currently, Francis and his wife live in Midcity dealing with the daily violence and theft that occurs from day to day.
Now reaching adult hood, Fripp is beginning a life of crime in order to survive the harsh world the Undercity presents by doing low level runs for local gangs. Concerned for his son's safety, UniClass citizenship is looking better and better to Francis as of late.

Personality: While he enjoyed socializing during his young adult life, in recent years he's become reclusive. Since there is not much company to entertain living in Midcity, this has not proved to be much of an issue. Francis is first and foremost a father and a husband. He is willing to do anything to feed his family, which usually includes doing house calls for people in the neighborhood. Most families are not able to give monetary compensation for his services, and often pay with food or supplies instead. Seeing as there are very few doctors in Midcity he is usually called out, making due with his skills as a surgeon to attempt physician work.

Weapons/Equipment: Medical equipment including: Scalpels, bone saw, needles, and an old but fully functional defibrillator.

Pepper spray and a cane for defense.
