Physical Description: General Characteristics: Simeon shows features pertaining to both his lupine and rodent heritage. His ears are large and round, though his skull has a more wolf-like shape. His fur is a soft brown in color. Both paws and footpaws lack any sort of fur, and his tail has only a thin covering.

Apparel: Dr. Veil commonly wears a white medical coat of white color, its pockets filled with small tools and the like. Attached to the left breast pocket, an identification card carries his name, status, and authority. Over a shoulder, Simeon carries a small back with various first-response medical tools; he always considers himself ‘on duty’ regardless of the time. Beneath the coat, he wears a pair of black khakis, black shoes, and a grey shirt. Even outside of Toride, Simeon opted not to go about armed.

Background: Simeon Veil was born to his parents four years prior to the founding of Einheit City in the colony of Nova Sofia. The second son of what would eventually be three children, Simeon found life in the colony to be difficult and, when the opportunity came about, the Veil family fled. Were it not for the Ministry's assistance, however, Simeon would have surely perished during the journey. Mments before Colonial weapons opened on the refugee column, several Ministry dropships moved to obstruct the line of fire. The sacrifice those soldiers made had a profound impact on Simeon's outlook on life.

After being brought to Einheit City, Simeon was enrolled in elementary. He progressed through primary and secondary schooling without any major incidents or distinctions. During the latter portion of this time, however, Simeon took a large interest in the sciences of biology and chemistry.

Simeon’s college life was mostly spent studying hard. With dual majors in the fields of biochemistry and medicine, the wolf-mouse had only fleeting moments to enjoy the things his lesser-studying friends could partake more readily. Through diligence and many long hours of study, Simeon managed to earn an internship at a hospital’s emergency room. It was during this period that Simeon first came into deep contact with his fascination on pain. The fascination and desire to study it still remains with him, despite the fact he knows it would be reprehensible to follow through with the desire.

A fresh, young doctor, Simeon moved into working full-time in triage and emergency medical care. During these few years, he built up a small amount of money (which would later be drained for his initial ‘street doctor’ equipment). Simeon also came to see what he believed an error in the way things worked: too many patients would die because the trained personnel stayed in the hospital, rather than being out on the streets where they were needed. After one particularly heartbreaking case ‘ a young child whom had been in the wrong place at the wrong time ‘ Simeon decided he would do something about the issue. Resigning his position as the hospital, Simeon sought out his elder brother for help in achieving his dream.

Now, Simeon lives with his elder brother, whom has generously helped the mouse/wolf quite a bit. Not needing to worry about shelter, food, or supplies, Simeon can spend his time in Toride and the Midcity helping those whom need it most.

Personality: On the surface, Dr. Veil is quite an altruistic person. He has refused multiple prestigious positions at Toride hospitals because they would remove him from serving the patients directly. Quite often, Simeon will follow someone ‘UniClass or otherwise’ with the belief that he can help save the life of another being, accepting neither money nor gifts for the life-saving work he does.

However, Dr. Veil’s friendly exterior is often used to conceal a desire for far less altruistic things. Simeon is fascinated with pain: both his own and that of other people. Many times, Simeon has to control his desire to prolong or cause a patient’s pain just for his own sadistic curiosity. Of course, he knows to keep this directed towards purebreds only, as the consequences for causing harm to a fellow UniClasser are rather harsh..
